    The Suffolk Art League in cooperation with the Suffolk Art Gallery presents their newest exhibit, "Life As I Know It: Recent Works by Heather Nygaard." This exhibit will be on display from July 9 to August 20, 2021 at the Suffolk Art Gallery. Local artist Heather Nygaard’s premier solo show is a collection of new oil paintings that explore themes such as mental health, motherhood, and imagination. She is the winner of the Suffolk Art League's 2020 Annual Juried Exhibition.

    Do you fancy yourself a mystery-solving detective? Do you have a sleuthing group with a talking dog? Join Suffolk Public Library on this Mystery in a Box adventure to determine what you think happened in this real life comic caper. To receive a copy of the Mystery in a Box be sure to register and pick up your kit at a Suffolk Public Library location. The event will run July 26 to August 14, 2021; to be entered to the drawing you will need to have your solution submitted by August 14. If you can't play along with us in July/August, be on the lookout for the print and play option for at home play anytime! After August 14, the drawing will be closed but the game can continue on.

  3. Chasing the Light: Plein Air Exhibition

    Members of the Suffolk Plein Air Society will display pieces that they have created during their monthly second-Saturday painting sessions, or that they have created in their studios. Works will include landscapes, florals, animals, cityscapes, and abstracts.
